Explore the largest trail system in New York City one ferry ride away from Manhattan. Choose from 20- and 12-mile options with an aid stations, bag transport and pace groups. Finish at the Flagship Brewery with complimentary post-run drink, snacks and goodie bag. Proceeds donated to the Greenbelt Conservancy, a not-for-profit organization that protects and enhances 35 miles of trails and 2,800 acres of natural areas and parks on Staten Island. Grid City is a project to explore the design, architecture and planning of New York City through running. Each month features a new topic, route and subject-matter guide who leads the group’s run and education. This month will be led by Xueting Wei and the topic will be Office to Resi Conversions.
