Grid City

Grid City: Guided Runs in the Design of New York City

Grid City is a project to explore the design, architecture and planning of New York City through running. Hosted in partnership with local designer Paul Morimoto, each month features a new topic, route and subject-matter guide who leads the group's run and education. As a brand designed, tested and made in New York City, the built environment informs our design language and we seek to strengthen this relationship and share our inspiration with the wider community through this series.

Monthly runs are held on the second Tuesday of every month from September through May. Every run begins at 7am from the public lobby of 180 Maiden Lane in the Financial District. More information, including the topic and guide, can be found on the Events page and StravaBag check is available, along with post-run coffee and pastries.

If you are interested in being a guide for Grid City, please contact us and share more about your background and any topics of interest.
