Southbound 400
The Race
Southbound 400 is a 400-mile team relay stage race from Canada to New York City along the Empire State Trail. Ten 8-person teams compete over three days for the fastest cumulative time and camp overnight together at each stage's finish. For the third year of the race, several teams return from the New York City area, along with new competitors from across the country.
Reflective Safety Vest
The inaugural Southbound 400 served as the testing ground for the first prototype of the MILER RUNNING reflective safety vest. The vest features 360-degree 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflectivity, featherweight breathable mesh and three pockets--now available for the public to purchase in Hi-Vis Yellow and Silver colorways. For this year’s race, the vest was updated and customized with branded reflective graphics made exclusively for race participants.
